EcoCrawls recently completed a project in Chapel Hill, NC, that involved removing old, dirty, and inefficient attic insulation and replacing it with brand-new, high-performance insulation. This crucial upgrade is a game-changer for homeowners looking to improve energy efficiency and temperature control.
EcoCrawls recently wrapped up a new construction encapsulation project in Vass, NC, which is just outside of Southern Pines and Pinehurst. Our work ensured the crawl space is fully protected from moisture and energy loss. One of the key challenges in this project was the extensive insulation needed for the knee walls. Our team worked diligently to insulate the area properly, enhancing the overall energy efficiency and creating a more comfortable environment for the homeowner.
At EcoCrawls, we take pride in helping homeowners tackle moisture problems and create healthier, safer living environments. Recently, we completed a transformative project that involved a series of comprehensive solutions to address water intrusion and insulation issues.
At EcoCrawls, we recently completed a comprehensive crawlspace encapsulation and conditioning project that transformed a damp, mold-prone area into a clean, dry, and healthy space. The project began with thorough mold remediation to eliminate existing issues and prevent future growth. We then encapsulated the crawlspace with a high-quality vapor barrier, and sealed all vents to create a conditioned environment. The before-and-after photos showcase the dramatic improvement, highlighting how our solutions effectively protect homes from moisture and mold, ensuring a healthier living environment.
Located within the prestigious Governor’s Club neighborhood in Chapel Hill, EcoCrawls undertook a transformative project, aiming to elevate this home’s comfort, efficiency, and overall living standards through a complete crawl space encapsulation.
The project commenced with meticulous groundwork, as our team conducted a thorough assessment of the crawl space’s condition. Understanding the unique requirements of this specific home was paramount to tailoring our approach effectively. The initial step involved the removal of outdated insulation materials to pave the way for modern, high-performance solutions.
At EcoCrawls, we recently had the privilege of completing a comprehensive crawl space encapsulation project in Hillsborough that exemplifies our commitment to excellence and sustainability in every aspect of our work.
We started the project by carefully removing outdated and inefficient insulation to pave the way for newer, more effective insulation materials. Before proceeding further, our team meticulously cleaned the crawl space, removing accumulated dust and addressing any existing mold issues.
In the quest for optimal home performance, every detail counts. EcoCrawls recently completed a comprehensive crawlspace encapsulation project on a home under construction. With a focus on elevating comfort, efficiency, and durability, this project showcases the power of strategic insulation and weatherproofing techniques.
At EcoCrawls, we believe in pushing the boundaries of conventional construction practices to deliver superior results. Central to our crawlspace encapsulation project was the integration of innovative materials and techniques designed to maximize efficiency and comfort.
In a recent project completed by EcoCrawls, we had the privilege of transforming a home’s crawlspace with a comprehensive suite of services, including French drain installation, crawlspace grading, mold remediation, insulation removal and replacement, and a meticulous 10 mil vapor barrier installation. Let’s explore how each step contributed to revitalizing this property.
EcoCrawls recently tackled a transformative project addressing a home without a proper vapor barrier in its crawlspace, a common issue leading to moisture-related problems and energy inefficiency. To combat these challenges, our team implemented a comprehensive encapsulation solution, beginning with a thorough inspection to assess the extent of the issue and identify underlying concerns. This involved installing a high-quality vapor barrier to seal off the crawlspace, insulating to enhance energy efficiency, and air sealing to prevent outdoor pollutants from entering.
Although we often complete crawlspace encapsulation projects on older homes, doing it as part of the construction process is a great opportunity. In this project, we sealed the crawlspace in two stages. In stage one, we installed insulation board to all of the exterior foundation walls. We also installed a layer of six mm vapor barrier to prevent moisture during the building process.
